Itamar’s music blends the delicateness of Middle Eastern music, the freedom found in jazz and the passion of flamenco, creating a unique sound all his own.
Internationally renowned composer and guitarist, Itamar has shared the stage with such musicians as Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Tomatito, Avishai Cohen, Jean-Louis Matinier, Zohar Fresco, and others. Since summer 2015 he is based in Vancouver and teaches at the VSO School of Music.
Itamar has released 2 CDs so far with the Adama Ensemble: "Desert Song" (2006) & "Hommage" (2010), and "New Dawn (2013) with percussionist Yshai Afterman.
Recent performances were at the “Jerusalem International Jazz Festival” (Israel), the Orpheum Annex (Vancouver BC), Vancouver International Guitar Festival.
