What’s in a name? Cassandra Maze is not your average musician or performer. She is a fierce frontwoman, a stage-blazer, a powerhouse vocalist shredding gutsy high notes in the heat of the moment. She is a songwriter with an ear to the ground and a one-woman-band-looper-extraordinaire, transfixing audiences with her distinctive fusion of alternative and dance pop. Forget the main drag — Maze embodies the roads less traveled, the pathways that diverge from the straight and narrow, the wanderlust pursuit of something fresh and vital.

Where words fall short, Maze’s music and live show speak volumes. She released her brand of catchy alterna-pop to the world last year, via her debut EP, “VELOCITY”, which features the gritty, guitar-driven anthem, “Wait”. Maze has toured eastern and western Canada in support of the album, both with her band, and her loop pedal and arsenal of musical instruments. Currently, Maze is putting the finishing touches on her sophomore EP, set for release late spring of 2018. Good things are coming yet again…
