After spending the last decade as sidemen for some of Canada’s most talented artists – from country mainstays Doc Walker to indie-pop act Imaginary Cities – Joey and David Landreth have at long last taken the plunge into a project that is all their own. The Bros. Landreth’s debut record, Let It Lie, unites warm alt-country sounds reminiscent of a mellow, modern day Eagles with autobiographical tales of love gone awry, and finding happiness after heartbreak.
Receiving extensive play on CBC, Galaxie and college radio, along with track “Tappin’ on the Glass” being added to CMT and ZUUS Country in the U.S., The Bros. Landreth are ready to step into the spotlight, leave the side stage behind, and let their own musical legacy be written.
